Winnie the pooh picture book illustration.

Some may laugh, but illustrations from children’s picture books are very inspiring to me. I felt always that if I could have the same impact that these illustrations have on people, mostly young people because adults lose that something that enables them to connect with the most obvious things, I’ve accomplished something in my craft.

This is leading to a new project, involving story telling, simple yet emotionally charged, backed with images not based on reality but linked to the real world by subtle words. Could even be a play or something.

It would be nice to gear this also for grown ups, too.

Howdy all,

Oh my, the temperature is up in Montreal and the snow has melted. The sun is out and my big fat jacket is hanging in the closet. Early arrival of Spring in this early part of March has caught me up in an especially good mood, and with it allowed me to do a nice load of work. The end result is a the White Label’s spring/summer 2010 collection photographs.

Evelyne Fey’s (White Label) pieces and herself made working with her a great experience. Also the rest of the team whom I trust, Jonathan Panetta for hair, Marie-Eve Dompierre for Make up, Pascale Cleary the model and my assistant photographer (also my brother) straight from Japan all made this a pleasurable time for me.
